In this FMP I will set out to design and develop a digital game that tests my knowledge and also expands upon it. I will be aiming to develop a 2D top-down horror and puzzle game that uses a similar gameplay style to that of GTA, GTA 2 and Zelda. I believe this project to be extremely ambitious and challenging because it will test my understanding of game design and will also require me to carry out extensive research into different methods of achieving a task in Construct 3. This project will also be achievable because I will be working to a strict deadline and my research will aid me in ensuring my final outcome is the best that it can possibly be. Creatively, I hope to grow and improve in the key areas of game design and development as this is the area that I am pushing and hoping to work in at a professional studio.
